Ryu Seung Ryong and Ha Ji-won show intense chemistry in 'Portrait of a Family' photoshoot

The production team for the film 'Portrait of a Family' released the photoshoot featuring Ryu and Ha from the September issue of Cosmopolitan.

Ryu and Ha play the roles of Jung-gu and Nam-mi, respectively, in 'Portrait of a Family'. Once famous as a top-star couple, their marriage falls apart due to the sudden appearance of Jung-gu's daughter, Dong-ju (Kim Si-a).

However, eight years later, the two meet again by fate. The story unfolds in earnest as Jung-gu and Nam-mi, who had previously turned their backs on each other, join forces to save Dong-ju after she becomes embroiled in a shocking incident.

The relationship between the two leads in 'Portrait of a Family' departs from simple romance or typical marital narratives. Because the characters—having experienced both love and separation—move toward a common goal through the bond of family, the evolution of their relationship serves as a central narrative axis of the film.
