Mediafine Global (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") is based on the Privacy Policy of our headquarters, Mediafine (www.mediafine.co.kr), and establishes the following additional regulations for global operations.

Article 1 (Personal Information Collected)

In principle, the Service does not collect personal information directly. The Service processes only the minimum necessary information in the following cases:

Newsletter subscription: Email address
Advertising/General inquiries: Email, contact information
Comments: Nickname, password (stored as a hash)
Server logs: IP, User-Agent, connection time

Article 2 (Purposes of Collection and Use)

Responding to inquiries
Anonymous statistical analysis
Prevention of unauthorized use

Article 3 (Third-Party Provision and Outsourcing of Processing)

The Service does not provide personal information to third parties, except as required by law. The following service providers are used for processing:

Cloudflare (USA): CDN/Security (Temporary storage of server logs)
Google Analytics (USA): Anonymized usage statistics
Mediafine Headquarters (Korea): Transmission of news tips and advertising inquiries

Article 4 (Retention and Use Period)

Newsletter subscription: Until subscription is canceled
Server logs: Up to 90 days
Comments: Until requested by the author or until the Service is terminated

Article 5 (Rights of Users)

Users may request to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information.

GDPR (Europe): Right to data portability and right to object to automated decision-making
CCPA (California): Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Article 6 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Email Collection)

The unauthorized collection of email addresses posted on this site using automated email collection programs is strictly prohibited.

Subject to criminal penalties under Article 50-2 of the Korean Information and Communications Network Act (imprisonment for up to 1 year or a fine of up to 10 million KRW)
CAN-SPAM Act (USA), GDPR Article 6 (Europe), and PDPA (Singapore/Thailand) apply similarly.

Article 7 (Cookie Policy)

Cookies are used to improve user experience. You can decline cookies through your browser settings; however, some features may be limited if you do so.

Article 8 (Automated Translation Data)

Original article content is temporarily transmitted to external LLM providers for AI translation (Gemma). Only the translation results are stored, and the input data is deleted after a certain period in accordance with the LLM provider's policies.
