Singer Bada has directly responded to a fan's comment criticizing her revealing outfit, explaining the reasoning behind her style choice at the time. Rather than reacting defensively to the uncomfortable feedback, she sought understanding by explaining that she had made a different kind of challenge for a special stage.
Recently, a video was released on social media showing Bada leaving after appearing on the SBS PowerFM program 'Cultwo Show' this past July. In the video, Bada showed her characteristic friendly fan service, readily giving autographs to waiting fans and engaging in warm conversations.
Bada's fashion also drew significant attention that day. She chose a much bolder style than usual to match the 'Womebam' summer music festa concept hosted by the 'Cultwo Show'. Bada created a refreshing and lively atmosphere by wearing a lime-colored knit crop top that revealed her figure, paired with a black inner layer and short denim hot pants that exposed her waistline, showcasing a "hot girl" style suitable for a summer festival.
However, one fan left a comment on the video saying, "Please, just change the clothes," suggesting that Bada's outfit was somewhat overwhelming. As the comment gained attention, Bada personally replied, revealing the story behind the outfit.
“That day was the WATERBOMB concept,” Bada explained, adding, “The radio program that has always played my songs endlessly, whether I am promoting or not, was the 'Cultwo Show'.” She explained that her gratitude toward the program, which has steadily introduced her music over a long period, led to this special choice of clothing.
“The 'Cultwo Show' radio asked me to perform live with a WATERBOMB concept, and since it is a radio program that is like a benefactor to me, I tried to be very faithful to the concept on that day,” she continued. “It was a day where I also took some courage. Please understand with a generous heart.” She explained that her purpose was not simply to emphasize exposure, but to maximize the special concept of a broadcast that holds significant meaning to her.
“Don't we all occasionally take courage or go overboard for someone in our lives?” Bada added. “Please understand that it was such a special day.” Rather than ignoring the fan's criticism or offering a sharp rebuttal, she sought soft understanding by honestly conveying the feelings behind her choice.
Bada's response, which resolved a situation that could have escalated into an outfit controversy through direct communication, also drew interest. By conveying both her desire to cherish her relationship with long-time fans and her reason for challenging a new style to match the stage concept, she emphasized that the outfit was a choice with special meaning to her.
