“For a few years, we fought like we were going to kill each other.” Actress Han Ji-hye revealed the inner workings of her marriage, having lived with her prosecutor husband for 16 years. In particular, the biggest change cited by Han Ji-hye was the birth of her family. Han Ji-hye confessed, “After the child was born, even though we tried to be very careful with each other, we fought like we were going to kill each other for a few years.” She explained that aspects of each other that they hadn't known for over 10 years of marriage were revealed all at once after having the child.

The core of the conflict was the child. From the way they viewed the child to their parenting methods, they were different, and they went through difficult times as their differing values clashed. Han Ji-hye stated, “It was difficult, but a sense of comradeship developed while raising the child,” revealing that their relationship ultimately became stronger as the couple endured parenting together.

Han Ji-hye married her prosecutor husband, who is six years older, in 2010, and held her daughter Yoon-seul in her arms in 2021, 11 years after marriage. Looking back on her 16 years of marriage, rather than showing a perfectly smooth image of a couple, she showed a realistic view of marriage where they fought and clashed, but ultimately endured as a family.
