Heo Kyung-hwan's Trending Moves: Following 'Hangout with Yoo' Regular Status, Taking a Step Toward 'Running Man'

Comedian Heo Kyung-hwan's variety show career is looking extraordinary. Following the news of his joining as a regular member of MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo', he is now taking over SBS's 'Running Man' once again. As this marks his 12th appearance, he blends so naturally among the members that even calling him a guest feels awkward.

In the episode of 'Running Man' to be broadcast on the 4th, a two-day, one-night trip to Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, with the members and Heo Kyung-hwan will be revealed. On this day, Heo Kyung-hwan surprises the members by appearing so naturally that no separate introduction is even necessary. He reveals his proactive variety sense by stating that he drove all the way to Cheorwon himself without a manager.

In particular, the number of his 12th appearance catches the eye. Unlike guests who appear once or twice, Heo Kyung-hwan has worked with the members multiple times, and on this day as well, he uses his unique wit to create a family-like atmosphere with the members. With his decision to join 'Hangout with Yoo' as a regular member recently finalized, expectations are growing that his variety show heyday is restarting.

In this broadcast, behind-the-scenes stories of Haha's first fan concert will also be revealed. However, Yang Se-chan, who actually attended Haha's concert, chose a stage that was more memorable than the protagonist, Haha. Yang Se-chan makes Haha flustered by saying, "The best part was Jae-suk hyung's live performance."

Previously, Yoo Jae-suk made a surprise appearance at Haha's fan concert and sang his trot song 'Redevelopment of Love' passionately. Other members also teased Haha by adding, "More than half of the people went to see Jae-suk hyung," and "Only videos of Jae-suk hyung's live stage are circulating on SNS." As the concert scene attended by the 'Running Man' members is revealed, the strong chemistry among the members is expected to add more laughter.

In Cheorwon, the full-scale 'Tear Through Cheorwon' race unfolds. The members must complete various missions within a time limit to complete one line of bingo. Since the bingo board includes not only desired benefits but also military experience missions that the members avoid, a fierce battle of wits is expected.

Additionally, a unique rule is added where the subject of the penalty is revealed every time a mission is completed. As the greed to claim benefits clashes head-on with the instinct to avoid penalties, what kind of performance Heo Kyung-hwan will show in his 12th appearance on 'Running Man' is also a point to watch. Attention is focused on how far Heo Kyung-hwan's variety show sprint, which naturally dominated 'Running Man' following his regular status on 'Hangout with Yoo', will continue.
