Kim Min, a "10 million actor" who drew 16.93 million viewers with a single film, has now appeared in the living room. However, his assigned role is unexpected. He is the youngest member of a robot laboratory who has no interest in romance but whose eyes change the moment it comes to research.

Kim Min made his first appearance as Choi Han-gyeol in episodes 1 and 2 of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Between Steps', which aired on the 5th and 6th. Choi Han-gyeol is a character who begins to blow a strange wind into the laboratory from the moment he notices the relationship between Park Min-jae (Choo Young-woo) and Im Yu-jin (Kim So-hyun).

In particular, the scene where Choi Han-gyeol, seeing the two together, says, "If you are not anything to each other, please introduce them to me," instantly showed the character's personality. While being clumsy at romance himself, he threw an unexpected spark between the two by appearing to have a subtle interest in other people's romances.

He also played a significant role as a mood maker in the laboratory. Whenever he appeared alongside Park Min-jae and fellow researchers Eom Tae-ho (Lee Kyu-sung) and Bae Chan-su (Lee Seok-hyung), he created natural "tiki-taka" (banter), breathing life into laboratory scenes that could have been somewhat stiff.

The true charm of Choi Han-gyeol lies in the coexistence of his playful side and his serious researcher face. While he quickly bursts into laughter at minor pranks and gets swept up in the atmosphere, once the laboratory lights go out, he immerses himself in research more seriously than anyone else. Instead of exaggerated acting, Kim Min created the image of a youngest member who could actually exist in a real laboratory through comfortable expressions and natural dialogue delivery.

The styling also added strength to the character. With a look that shows personality without trying too hard, combined with understated facial expressions, the character of Choi Han-gyeol came to life naturally. Having fulfilled the role of refreshing the laboratory atmosphere even with short appearances, expectations for his future activities are growing.

Kim Min rose to the rank of "10 million actor" by surpassing a cumulative audience of 16.93 million with the movie 'The King's Warden'. Following his overwhelming box office success on the screen, as he expands his stage to dramas through 'Between Steps', attention is focused on how far Kim Min's other side, which was not shown in theaters, will unfold. 'Between Steps' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM on ENA and can also be found on KT Genie TV and Disney+.
