Koo Jun-yup visited the grave again on the birthday of his late wife, Barbie Hsu. Even after his family and visitors had all left, he remained alone by his wife's side, confessing, "I still love her," and even expressing his intention not to return to South Korea.

According to local Taiwanese media on the 7th, Koo Jun-yup visited the grave with his sister-in-law Dee Hsu and his mother-in-law on the previous day to mark Barbie Hsu's birthday. About two hours after celebrating the deceased's birthday with his family, the family members and visitors who had come together began to leave one by one. However, Koo Jun-yup did not leave the grave for a while after that.

When local reporters asked Koo Jun-yup about his feelings for his wife, he left a short but deep remark. It was the phrase, "I just still love her." He directly revealed the fact that his love for his wife, who passed away suddenly, remains the same even as time passes.

He was even more firm when asked about the possibility of returning to South Korea. To the question, "Do you intend to live in South Korea or stay with your mother?" Koo Jun-yup answered "No" without hesitation. This is interpreted as his intention to continue staying in Taiwan, where his wife rests.

The fact that Koo Jun-yup visits the grave on special days adds to the poignancy. On the couple's wedding anniversary this past February, he also visited his wife's grave alone, having prepared cake and wine. Even on anniversaries that they cannot celebrate together, he visits the grave as if continuing the time he shared with his wife during her lifetime.

The love between the two drew even greater attention as a connection that was severed once and then reconnected. Koo Jun-yup and Barbie Hsu first met and dated in 1998 but broke up after about a year. Later, when news of Barbie Hsu's divorce became known in 2021, Koo Jun-yup contacted her again, and the two were wed in 2022. As the first love who met again after a long time led to marriage, their reunion itself became a major topic of conversation.

However, the happiness did not last long. Barbie Hsu passed away suddenly from acute pneumonia during a trip to Japan last February. Having sent his wife away first after a short marriage, Koo Jun-yup has since remained in Taiwan and visits the grave on special days. It was also reported in July that the deceased's assets, such as the penthouse in Xinyi District, Taipei, where Barbie Hsu lived during her lifetime, were transferred to Koo Jun-yup and their two children. This is why Koo Jun-yup's single remark, "I still love her," feels even more heart-wrenching as time passes.
