Seo In-young reveals the truth behind the IU assault rumors: "We aren't even close?"

Seo In-young brought up the absurd "IU assault rumors" that once followed her. While rumors even circulated that she dragged IU to a restroom and assaulted her, Seo In-young expressed her disbelief, stating that she wasn't even close to IU and asking, "Why would I hit her?"

On the 7th, Baek Z Young appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel 'Gaegwacheonseon Seo In-young'. The two reminisced about the days when they were perceived as having strong images in the entertainment industry, discussing the atmosphere at the time and their relationships with juniors.

Baek Z Young said to Seo In-young, "Both you and I had strong characters, didn't we?" but added, "If you look closely, you've never actually said anything to anyone, right?" She went on to emphasize, "We never caught (scolded) our juniors," reflecting on the gap between their public images and their actual selves.

At that, Seo In-young suddenly summoned the rumors that once surrounded her. She brought up the absurd story from that time, saying, "There was a rumor that I hit IU," and "The rumor was that I dragged her to the restroom and beat her."

She then expressed her sense of injustice, asking, "Why would I hit her?" In particular, when asked if she was actually close to IU, she drew attention by answering, "I wasn't close to IU." From Seo In-young's perspective, it was an even more absurd rumor since she was linked to an assault allegation involving someone she wasn't even close to.

Upon hearing this, Baek Z Young joked, "You must have hit her because you weren't close," to which Seo In-young reacted as if it were ridiculous. The two laughed as they shared various episodes and misunderstandings they experienced in the entertainment industry in the past.

Seo In-young also shared an anecdote about how she didn't even know the ages of the celebrities around her because she had such a busy schedule while active. She confessed, "I had a lot of work," and mentioned that she thought Narsha was younger than her. She also shared the happening that occurred after she learned Narsha's actual age, drawing laughter.

Although Seo In-young was caught up in various rumors and misunderstandings due to her strong image, this time she directly brought up the past "IU assault rumors" to revisit the gap between fact and rumor. By personally mentioning the absurd rumor that is still talked about even after a long time, she once again expressed her sense of injustice from that time.
