KBS2's 'Happy Together - Better Together,' which started with a 3.0% rating in its first broadcast but struggled with a drop to the 1% range, will end after a 12-episode run. The music audition variety show led by Yoo Jae-suk is finally racing toward its end. KBS2's 'Happy Together - Better Together,' which started with a 3.0% rating in its first broadcast but struggled with a drop to the 1% range, will come to a close after a 12-episode run. For the final stage, the rookie girl group RESCENE will join to heighten the finale atmosphere.
'Happy Together - Better Together' is a storytelling music audition featuring Yoo Jae-suk, Jang Hang-jun, and Yoon Jong Shin, which highlights the stories and musical chemistry of the people who formed teams. Moving away from a format that simply competes on singing ability, it emphasized the stories and harmonies built together by the participants, but it did not achieve the expected results in terms of viewership ratings.
The rating for the first episode was 3.0%. However, as the broadcasts continued, the ratings went on a downward trend, dropping to 1.5% in the 5th episode. Even after that, it failed to find an opportunity to rebound, with the 8th and 9th episodes staying at 1.9% in succession. Although it rose slightly to 2.4% in the 10th episode, it was insufficient to regain the momentum from the beginning.
Now, the remaining interest is focused on which team will take the victory in the final competition. In the 11th episode, which will be broadcast on the 9th at 8:30 PM, the 'Final Stage in Han River' will unfold, where the 12 final qualifying teams will face off for the win. RESCENE's WONI and MINAMI, along with Forestella's Ko Woo-rim and Kang Hyung-ho, will join as special MCs to add vitality to the stage.
RESCENE's WONI expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I came here today to share RESCENE's good energy." MINAMI, who also has experience appearing in audition programs, highly praised the participating teams, saying, "I feel like I met future superstars today," raising expectations for the final competition.
Congratulatory stages and surprise guests are also prepared. RESCENE, Forestella, and Bang Yedam's sub-character DIMO REX will perform special stages, and in the audience, PENTAGON's WOOSEOK and singer Bada are expected to appear to reveal their special connections with the participants. Whether the final stage created by the cast and participants can re-engage the interest of viewers is also a point to watch.
The stories of the 12 teams stepping onto the final stage are diverse. Including 'Bangga Bangga,' composed of Bang Yedam's family; the mother-daughter duo 'Like a Turtle' who made Lee Hyo-ri cry; the musical father-son team 'Bonghan's Family'; 'Famous Voice'; 'Do Re Mi'; 'Intti Band'; and the 'Flower Youth Choir' with an average age of 80, they will showcase their final harmonies. 'Someday', 'A Deux Ladies', 'You Were My 20s', and 'Underground Parking Lot' will also make their final challenge toward victory.
'Happy Together - Better Together,' which has competed with the stories and music of the participants despite the poor viewership ratings, is now approaching its end. The final competition will continue from the 11th episode broadcasting on the 9th through to the final episode. Interest is gathering on whether this program, which left a report card that did not meet initial expectations, can leave a warm lingering impression during its final stage.
