Ahn Moon Sook Refuses to Reveal Her Home, Citing Conservative Values and Pet's Well-being

On the 27th, actress Ahn Moon Sook revealed the reasons why she has consistently declined offers to show her home on the YouTube channel 'Miss What About Ahn Moon Sook'.

Ahn Moon Sook stated, "Because I have lived alone for a long time, many people are curious about my house. There were times in variety shows where they asked me to open up my home, and even on 'My Little Old Boy', they wanted me to join as a regular cast member but required me to show my house, so I didn't do it."

She continued, "Being a celebrity doesn't make me any different. I live just like anyone else. People might be curious, thinking, 'Oh, so that's how Ahn Moon Sook lives.' However, I don't really like revealing things. I don't feel like opening up my refrigerator or my bedroom. That's why I have never revealed my home."

She shared, "A long time ago, when my mother was young, MBC aired a program called 'Ahn Moon Sook's Marriage Project'. Back then, I had no choice but to open up, and the aftereffects were quite severe. These days, it's a trend for celebrities to reveal their homes, but I want to stay away from that trend. I don't want to disclose it." She explained that while revealing her home might create immediate buzz, the aftermath is difficult to handle.

She also revealed that she has declined variety show offers to appear with her pet, stating, "Even when asked, I didn't do it. I felt that filming it would cause stress to Boksil (her pet). I didn't even train Boksil because I was worried he would get stressed. It's partly because I am lazy, but I also didn't teach him those things so he could live comfortably."

She added, "I am much more conservative than people think. I might seem open-minded, but if you look closely, I am very conservative. People who have lived alone for a long time have their own world, and they don't particularly want someone entering it. That's why I also don't interfere with others much. Everyone has their own routines and ways of living quite differently," explaining her reasons for maintaining distance from others.
