Do Ji-won Reveals Living as a '60-Year-Old Kangaroo Tribe' with Unmarried Siblings
Actress Do Ji-won shares her unique living situation on SBS 'My Little Old Boy,' discussing her multi-generational household and views on marriage.
Actress Do Ji-won (60) appeared as a guest on SBS 'My Little Old Boy' on the 7th and revealed that she has been living as part of the 'Kangaroo Tribe' (adult children living with parents) until now.

Seo Jang Hoon and Shin Dong Yup asked Do Ji-won if she had any plans to move out independently. Do Ji-won replied, "I did think about living separately, but I gave up the idea after just one day. I live with all my family members, including my mother. I have many siblings."
She further explained, "Only one of my younger siblings is married and lives separately, while my older sister and my other younger sibling are unmarried, so we all live together."
As the topic of marriage arose, Do Ji-won stated, "My mother used to talk about it occasionally in the past, but she never forced it on me."
When asked about her thoughts on marriage, she said, "I keep all possibilities open. I think if the situation allows it, it happens, and if not, it doesn't. I tend to think that way about all things."
Born in 1965, she graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School and Hanyang University's Department of Dance, and previously worked as a member of the Korea National Ballet. She is a ballerina who is an alumna of Sunhwa Arts High School, the same as Kang Su-jin. She made her debut in the entertainment industry after winning the Miss Debon contest in 1989, beating a competition ratio of 1400 to 1.
She played the role of Gyeongbin Park in the drama 'Yeoin Cheonha' (Empress of the Year) broadcast from 2001 to 2002, for which she won the Top Excellence Award at the 'SBS Drama Awards.'
