On the 13th, the YouTube channel 'Studio Genie' uploaded a video titled '[Scarecrow] Episodes 7–8 Making Film. XXX Apologizing to Shocked Viewers?!' Jeong Moon-sung greeted viewers with an apology.

He bowed his head, saying, "First of all, I'm sorry. Yong-woo did everything wrong. Please forgive my acting, not me, and enjoy watching the drama 'Scarecrow.'" Though his character delivered a chilling plot twist that shocked viewers, in the making-of video he showed off a playful side, appealing to fans with an endearing image.

On the 11th, 'Scarecrow' shocked viewers when it was revealed that Lee Gi-hwan was the identity of the serial killer from 30 years ago. In the epilogue at the end of the broadcast, the moment the face of serial killer Lee Yong-woo — caught after 30 years — was unveiled, an older Lee Gi-hwan appeared, throwing viewers into confusion.

Born in 1981, Jeong Moon-sung made his debut in 2007 through the musical 'Line 1.' He subsequently appeared in dramas including 'Prison Playbook', 'Beautiful Mind', 'Six Flying Dragons', 'The Legend of the Blue Sea', and 'About Time.' He has also appeared in films such as 'Heading South' and 'Wolf Hunting.'
