Lee Soo-kyung reveals resort-style home with 3.8 million won monthly rent

Actress Lee Soo-kyung has drawn significant attention by revealing her new home, which evokes the feeling of a resort even in the heart of Seoul. Introducing a massive multi-purpose residential space equipped with everything from a swimming pool and infinity pool to a golf course and a fitness center with Han River views, she also candidly disclosed the monthly rent of 3.8 million won.

On the 23rd, a video titled 'I came to see the house and got lost: Exploring Soo-kyung's new home with a swimming pool and golf course' was released on Lee's YouTube channel.

In the video, Lee explained the background of her decision to move. "My lease expired, and since the neighborhood I was living in became too hot, I had to look for a new place," she said. "Many of my acquaintances live around here, and there are many things we can do together, so I decided to come here."

The place Lee chose is a large complex combining officetels and commercial facilities. She expressed satisfaction with the convenient living environment, stating, "The upper floors are officetels and the lower floors are commercial facilities, so most of my daily life can be handled without even going outside."

The revealed facilities were at a level that went beyond typical residential spaces. There were resident-only meeting rooms, unmanned convenience stores, and communal kitchens, and breakfast and lunch services were available upon request.

Lee laughed, saying, "It's a perfect fit for a homebody like me," and proceeded to show various community facilities provided within the building.

In particular, hotel-grade facilities such as a fitness club overlooking the Han River, a swimming pool, an infinity pool, and a luxury golf driving range caught the eye. When the production crew expressed their admiration, Lee shared her realistic concerns, saying, "I might face a reality check regarding the maintenance fees, but I will work hard."

The interior of the house featured clean decor and a spacious terrace. Although only some belongings were placed as she had not fully moved in yet, the efficiently organized spaces—including the living room, kitchen, dining room-cum-study, and bedroom—captured attention.

Lee explained, "The square footage is much smaller than my previous home. However, since the amenities are so good, I think it will be fine to live minimally."

The space she liked most was the wide terrace. Expressing her affection, Lee said, "There are only two houses with a terrace like this. I wanted to decorate it beautifully and make it my own hideout where I can watch movies and spend time with people."

When the production crew marveled, saying, "It doesn't feel like Seoul; it feels like a resort," Lee expressed her satisfaction, saying, "I love scenery where you can see mountains. I think this is the perfect place for me."

Furthermore, she did not hide the cost of her residence.

Lee stated, "I moved in on a two-year monthly rent lease. The deposit is cheaper than I thought. It was 50 million won in the early stages, but it has risen a lot now." She continued, "The monthly rent is 3.8 million won, but I can afford to bear this amount."

As celebrity home tours have become a medium that goes beyond simple curiosity to showcase individual lifestyles and values, Lee's new home is also garnering interest for a residential style that prioritizes 'quality of life' over 'size.'
