The interest in Moon's physical transformation stems from her own candid comments regarding dieting. Appearing on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" last April, she confessed, "Because I enjoy eating so much, I've gained weight, so dieting is a concern." She added that she is managing her diet and combining it with exercise since she uses her body extensively for performances.

At that time, her characteristic round cheeks were prominent, highlighting the friendly and lovely image Moon has maintained since her childhood. In contrast, in this recent video, her more defined facial lines leave a more mature and sophisticated impression.
