Son Su-a expands acting career with play 'Uchupracacia'

Former model turned actress Son Su-a is expanding her performance career by joining the cast of the play 'Uchupracacia.' Moving between dramas and stage productions to broaden her filmography, she is steadily building her reputation as an actress through recent consecutive casting in theatrical works.

Recently, Son shared several photos on her social media (SNS) with the caption, "Please give love to 'Uchupracacia.'"

The released photos capture the script reading session for 'Uchupracacia.' During the session, where she met her fellow actors for the first time, Son showed her deep immersion in the work, focusing intently on her assigned role.

In this production, Son will take the stage as the character Lucy. Wearing a yellow striped sleeveless knit, she drew attention as she studied her character while reading the script with a serious expression.

Son did not hide her affection for the work.

"This is a work I truly cherish," she stated. "Previously, I was part of 'Uchu' as Sandra, but this time I meet it again as Lucy."

She expressed her excitement and determination ahead of the new performance, saying, "I will work hard with everyone in a friendly and fun way so that we can spread love through this work."

As she returns to the stage in a new role in the same production, expectations are high to see if she can present a deeper character interpretation based on her previous experience with the work.

Currently, she is performing alongside her mother, comedian Lee Kyung-sil, in the play 'I Love You, Mom,' which is directed by and stars comedian Jo Hye-ryun.
