Go So-young Says Sister-in-Law Originated Seo In-young's Nail Look and Has Ties to Song Hye-kyo and IU

Actress Go So-young introduced her sister-in-law, nail artist Kwon Sung-hee, and shared the story behind their long-running connection.

On the 4th, Go So-young released a video on her YouTube channel titled "First Reveal of Go So-young's Older Brother's Wife, Said to Have Famous Celebrities Lining Up." In the video, the actress met Kwon Sung-hee and presented her not only as family, but also as someone she had known through work before the family relationship became clear.

Go said, "She was our staff. She was our crew. I knew her first, regardless of my brother." The comment framed Kwon as someone who had already been part of Go's professional circle before Go understood the connection to her older brother.

Kwon corrected her with a different version of the timeline, saying, "No. Your brother came first. I met my husband when I was 19."

Go then explained how she came to realize who her brother was dating. "One day, I was looking at a photo of my brother, and a woman's nails were this long," she said. "I thought he was seeing a girlfriend who really liked to go out and have fun. But my brother said, 'It's someone you know too.' So I said, 'Kwon Sung-hee?' and he said yes. That's how I found out."

Go also pointed to Kwon's work as a nail artist, saying, "Jewelry's Seo In-young was incredibly famous for her nails, wasn't she? That was born here." Her remark linked Kwon to the memorable nail style associated with Seo In-young of the group Jewelry.

Kwon said Seo had a style close to her own from the start. "From the first time we met, she was the person whose style was most similar to mine," Kwon said. "Now, In-young's nails are longer."

Kwon also named several celebrities who had worked with her. "I met Girls' Generation's Taeyeon when I went on location for a music video shoot, and many celebrities have passed through me, including Han Hyo-joo, Song Hye-kyo, Park Min-young and IU," she said.
