BTS Jungkook Warns Suspected Sasaeng Fans After Running Plan With Fans Leads to Trouble

BTS member Jungkook left a warning message for people believed to be sasaeng fans after trouble arose while he was communicating with fans online.

On the 1st, Jungkook connected with fans in real time through the “Ask me anything” feature on his social media account. While answering fan questions, he wrote, “Let’s go running,” letting fans know that he was heading out for a run.

He later continued the exchange by sharing video of himself running. In a light fan-service moment, he added, “If you catch me, selfie,” promising that he would take a photo with a fan who happened to find him by chance.

However, in an additional video he released afterward, Jungkook appeared displeased as he repeatedly threw playful punches toward the camera. He did not hide his discomfort, saying, “I didn’t mean you should wait near my house. I’ll really call you out.”

Jungkook’s intention had been to meet fans naturally while he was out running, but the situation unfolded differently when sasaeng fans came all the way to the area in front of his home. Even so, he appeared to try to move past the privacy invasion with his characteristically humorous way of speaking.

This was not the first time Jungkook had experienced invasions of privacy. In June last year, a Chinese woman in her 30s was apprehended by police on suspicion of attempting to enter Jungkook’s home after repeatedly entering the front-door passcode. Later, a woman in her 40s was arrested in the act after entering his home parking area without permission. A Brazilian woman in her 30s was also caught on suspicion of stalking him several times.
