On the Korean website, all items except for a few were sold out by that morning, and even after a second restock in the afternoon, they were sold out again. On the Chinese website, the leather jacket worn by Jung Kook in the pictorial enjoyed explosive popularity, with all sizes selling out in just one minute.
According to 'Popcore,' which covers popular culture, Calvin Klein's websites worldwide even went down due to the influx of fans following the collection's launch.
Calvin Klein's collaboration with Jung Kook marks the first time in its 58-year history that an idol has directly participated in the design process. Calvin Klein announced on its official SNS, "A bold expression capturing the true style of a global icon. An unprecedented collaboration. This is Jung Kook for Calvin Klein."
Jung Kook participated in the entire creative process, from the initial concept to the final design details. He personally selected the denim washes and worked with the Calvin Klein team to customize the fits of items such as the trucker jacket. This collection was completed based on Jung Kook's affection for motorcycles.
