Lee Ji-hye and Moon Jae-wan's romantic getaway during family trip

Singer Lee Ji-hye recently shared glimpses of a family trip to Jeju Island with her husband Moon Jae-wan, their two daughters, and her parents, drawing attention to the affectionate bond the couple has maintained throughout their 10 years of marriage.

On the 11th, Lee posted several photos from the trip on her SNS. While most of the shots featured the entire family—from her parents to her two daughters—the photos capturing Lee and Moon alone particularly stood out.

Sitting side-by-side on a bench under a tree, the couple leaned into each other naturally. Lee wrapped her arms around Moon's neck as she leaned affectionately against him, while Moon leaned in to kiss his wife. Despite their long marriage, the two still exuded the romantic energy of a dating couple.

The photos drew laughter from fans because Lee's parents and children were positioned right behind the couple, capturing a brief, stolen moment of intimacy amidst a large family gathering.

Reflecting on the trip, Lee remarked, "It was a disorganized trip with not many photos taken, but we were so focused on each other and so joyful that we didn't even have time to take many pictures."

She also expressed gratitude to her family, noting, "I felt sorry because Mom was constantly doing the dishes and my sister was constantly busy with childcare." In her characteristically cheerful tone, she added, "Perhaps because of our age, the trip ended satisfactorily and without any fights(?) among the large family."

The peaceful trip was not without its challenges, however. Lee shared the realities of parenting by recounting the "mom snatching battle" that broke out between her two daughters.

To soothe the rivalry, she provided a "karaoke chance" for her eldest daughter and a "Daiso shopping spree" for her second daughter. "It seems peace has arrived for a moment," she joked, unsure how long the sisters' competition would last.

She ended her story with a humorous plea to other parents: "Moms of sisters who have raised them, please give me hope."

As marriages progress, the relationship often shifts from the excitement of dating to the stability of life partnership. In that sense, the images of Lee and Moon suggest that everyday affection and small gestures of intimacy are what sustain a long-term marriage more than grand events.

Even while managing a large group of children and parents, the couple did not miss the chance to focus on one another. Lee's description of a trip where they were "focused on each other" was perfectly captured in their private moments.
