Joy debuted in 2014 as a member of the girl group Red Velvet with the group’s first single album, “Happiness.” Since then, she has been active as a lead rapper and sub-vocalist within the group.
She has also released the solo special album “Hello.” In addition, her OST track “Introduce Me a Good Person” for the drama “Hospital Playlist” gained strong popularity on music charts.
More recently, Joy released her first solo mini album, “From JOY, with Love.” She also took part in lyric writing for tracks including “Get Up And Dance” and “Unwritten Page,” adding a personal creative role to the project.
