Seo In-young: 'I wouldn't have lost weight if I weren't a celebrity'

Seo In-young, a singer from the group Jewelry, shared her candid thoughts on the reality of constantly managing her appearance due to her career and her experiences with dieting. She confessed that if she did not have a profession that places her in the public eye, she would not have lost weight, adding that she was happy even during the times when she was much heavier.

She said, "When I look at Instagram, I also find myself thinking things like, 'Should I try getting my eyes widened?'" and added, "I keep worrying about it to the point where there are almost no procedures I haven't tried."

When the production crew asked, "Don't you already have traces of procedures and surgeries all over your body?", Seo replied, "The reason I want to become even prettier now is because of the Waterbomb Festival stage."

She went on to explain her professional values, saying, "Due to my profession, I believe being seen by people is important," and "I believe a stage should be a pleasure for both the eyes and the ears."

However, she also confessed that managing her outward appearance is somewhat at odds with her original values.

Seo stated, "I was happy even back then when I was much heavier," and "If I hadn't become a celebrity, I would never have lost weight."
