Tiffany Young Leaves Girls' Generation Status Behind for US Move and Destiny to Meet Byun Yo-han
Tiffany Young reveals her journey from Girls' Generation idol to actress, her musical 'Chicago' audition, and her relationship with Byun Yo-han on MBC's The Manager.
On the 27th, during MBC's 'The Manager', Tiffany Young, a member of Girls' Generation celebrating her 19th year since debut, revealed her daily life.

Tiffany Young shared her experience of suffering from vocal cord nodules twice in the past and visited an otolaryngologist early in the morning to check her vocal cords. She stated, "I go to the otolaryngologist once every two weeks, just as if I were going to a dermatologist." The doctor meticulously examined the movement of her vocal cord muscles.
Tiffany Young revealed that she usually studies vocal cord structures, muscles, and even blood vessels herself. Influenced by her sister, who majored in biology, and her maternal grandfather, who is a doctor, she developed an interest in anatomy. The doctor was even surprised by her knowledge of anatomy.
She also shared scenes from the rehearsal site of the musical 'Yumi's Cells'. Tiffany Young, who plays the lead role of Yumi, arrived at the practice room earlier than anyone else to warm up, and after preparing her makeup and costume, focused on character analysis. She showed a meticulous attitude toward the work, stating that she specifically wanted to express even the movement of the character's pupils.
She also displayed the affection between her and her husband, Byun Yo-han, by sharing the story of how he sent a coffee truck to support her as she challenges herself in a new field.
She also revealed the reason why she suddenly left for studies in the US while active with Girls' Generation. To take on new challenges, she let go of all her established status to attend acting school and audition for films and dramas. After intense preparation, she announced that she passed the audition for the musical 'Chicago' with a 200:1 competition rate.
Thanks to that passion, she was able to transition from an idol to an actress, and by building up her acting skills, she was cast in Disney+ 'Uncle Samsik', which led her to meet Byun Yo-han.
