Han Yeong finds peace in rural container house after stopping IVF

Singer Han Yeong has shared updates on her new way of life, embracing a simple daily routine in a rural retreat established with her husband, Park Goon.

On the 13th, Han Yeong posted a photo of homemade pasta on her SNS with the caption, "It's so hot, so I'm making two different dishes with one boil." Her appearance, enjoying a meal outdoors despite the sweltering weather, presents a stark contrast to her glamorous days on television.

Han Yeong expressed how deeply she has embraced the countryside, noting, "Seeing myself forcing myself to come here in this heat, I think I might be addicted to the countryside?" Appearing with a makeup-free face in a comfortable T-shirt and traditional baggy patterned pants, she exuded a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe far removed from her sophisticated stage persona.

The couple is currently staying in a second home in Goesan, Chungbuk, which they prepared together. Having dreamed of rural living even before marriage, they have secured a site of approximately 439 pyeong to prepare for full-scale house construction.

As their permanent home is not yet complete, they are using a container house as a temporary residence. In the quiet environment, surrounded by the sounds of insects, birds, and sprinklers, the couple is experiencing a life entirely different from the city.

For Han Yeong, this move represents more than just a change of scenery; it marks a new direction for the couple after deciding to stop long-term IVF treatments.

Through the SBS variety program "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny," Han Yeong and Park Goon recently revealed the IVF process they had undergone for approximately two years. Han Yeong drew sympathy from viewers by revealing she had undergone 24 egg retrievals and 7 embryo transfers.

"I thought I had truly done all I could. I stopped the procedure when I reached my limit," Han Yeong confessed, adding, "Now, we have made up our minds to just live happily, the two of us."

For Han Yeong, this rural life serves as a fresh start. After pausing the long journey to conceive, the couple has shifted their focus toward finding happiness in each other's company.
