Hong Hyun Hee reveals transformed look after 11kg weight loss

Broadcaster Hong Hyun Hee is embracing a new lifestyle, updating not only her appearance but also her hair and makeup style following an 11kg weight loss.

On the 14th, Hong revealed the preparation process for filming the MBC variety program "The Manager" via the YouTube channel "Hongsseun TV."

Hong left her home early at 7 AM for hair and makeup. Having just returned from a trip to Hawaii, she expressed her fatigue, noting, "I woke up at 6:30 AM for the first time in a long while." She drew laughter from the production crew when asked about her condition, remarking, "Travel while you are young.""

Despite her busy schedule, she remained dedicated to self-care. While traveling in her vehicle, Hong focused on skincare by applying a facial mask before visiting a new shop for her hair and makeup.

"This is a first," Hong revealed, announcing that she had moved from her long-time hair and makeup artist. "I wanted to bring about some change after my diet. Since 'Shop-ttung' has become so busy, I moved to a new place to transform myself with a fresh mindset.""

Having worked with the makeup artist known as 'Shop-ttung' for a long time, Hong is essentially refreshing her entire styling environment to mark her weight loss milestone.

She expressed satisfaction with the new shop, noting, "It is so hard to make a reservation. It is a place where brides' bookings are completely full.""

The makeup process wasn't without its challenges, as Hong struggled to put in her contact lenses. After finally managing them, she continued her signature witty banter: "To become pretty, this kind of hardship follows. It is not easy.""

Hong recently garnered significant attention for losing 11kg through a combination of exercise and diet. Since then, she has been sharing her transformed appearance and consistent self-care routines via social media (SNS).

Hong married interior designer Jay-ssun in 2018, and they have a son.
