I Am SOLO viewership rises as Yeong Suk reshuffles love lines

The ENA and SBS Plus dating reality program 'I Am SOLO' has successfully rebounded in viewership with its Season 32 Divorced Special. Analysts suggest that viewer immersion has deepened due to rapid shifts in the participants' emotions, which have reshuffled the love lines, combined with the introduction of the 'Super Date Right' competition for the first time in the program's history.

According to Nielsen Korea, a viewership rating agency, the episode of 'I Am SOLO' broadcast on the 22nd recorded 2.422% for ENA and 1.933% for SBS Plus among nationwide paid television households.

These figures represent an increase from the previous broadcast on the 15th, which recorded 2.213% for ENA and 1.871% for SBS Plus. The combined viewership for the two channels was tallied at 4.355%, rising 0.271% percentage points from the previous week's record of 4.084%, continuing the upward trend.

Recently, 'I Am SOLO' has established itself as a representative brand for non-celebrity dating variety shows, presenting various concepts for different seasons. In particular, specials centered on divorced participants dreaming of remarriage and new love continue to generate consistent buzz by capturing relationship changes infused with realistic views on dating and life experiences.

In this broadcast, the love lines that began to become intricately entangled following the evening dates chosen by the male participants were fully revealed.

The biggest change was the love triangle surrounding Yeong Suk.

As Yeong Sik and Yeong Su both chose Yeong Suk simultaneously, a so-called '2-on-1 date' was formed. After continuing the conversation, Yeong Suk honestly revealed that her heart was leaning more toward Yeong Sik. Consequently, a clear shift occurred in the emotional landscape that had been held in tight balance, drawing intense interest toward the future development of their relationship.

Yeong Su and Hyeon Suk also confirmed that their mutual attraction had grown. Through an interview, Hyeon Suk stated, "My feelings for Yeong Su have grown again," suggesting that their relationship is moving in a positive direction.

In the latter half of the broadcast, a new rule for the first time in the program was revealed.

The production team held a team competition for the first time this season with the 'Super Date Right' on the line. With the introduction of this new system, which offers a more powerful selection right than existing date rights, the competitive spirit of the participants intensified.
