I Am SOLO's Yeong-ja shows bright smile amid divorce rumors

Yeong-ja, a participant from Season 28 of the ENA and SBS Plus dating reality show 'I Am SOLO', has revealed her slimmer appearance in a recent update. Amid online rumors regarding a potential divorce from her husband, Yeong-cheol, Yeong-ja appeared in a new video looking bright and healthy as she reunited with acquaintances.

On the 16th, a video titled 'Talk Time with Female Friends After My Little Old Boy Filming' was posted on Season 28 Gwang-su's YouTube channel.

The video captured Season 28 Gwang-su and Jeong-hui, a couple who had just finished filming for SBS's 'My Little Old Boy', enjoying a date. The two headed to a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, where an unexpected guest was waiting.

Upon entering the cafe, Jeong-hui was surprised and could not hide her joy when she spotted Yeong-ja. As it turned out, this was a surprise event prepared by Gwang-su.

Jeong-hui burst into laughter, saying, "For a moment, I thought it was my birthday," and warmly greeted Yeong-ja, whom she hadn't seen in a long time.

Above all, what first caught the eye was Yeong-ja's changed aura.

As soon as Jeong-hui saw Yeong-ja, she complimented her, saying, "Straight hair suits you much better than wavy hair," and added, "I was wondering why you got so pretty, and it turns out it was because of your hairstyle.""

When she followed up by asking, "Your face looks much smaller. Did you lose weight?", Yeong-ja explained that she didn't lose weight intentionally but rather ate less flour, suggesting that changes in her eating habits had influenced her appearance.

In fact, recent health studies suggest that reducing the intake of refined carbohydrates and flour can assist with weight management and reducing facial swelling. It appears that Yeong-ja's dietary changes led to a natural change in her physique rather than a strict diet.

Gwang-su revealed that the meeting was arranged spontaneously. He explained, "I called Yeong-ja while driving up, and she said she happened to be nearby," while Jeong-hui expressed surprise, asking, "So you didn't plan it, but just met because you were coincidentally nearby?"

To this, Yeong-ja shared the behind-the-scenes story with a laugh, saying, "I was originally just going to come, but I thought it would be more fun not to tell her in advance." She confessed that she had cautiously asked Gwang-su for his opinion before the surprise, saying, "I asked him, 'Wouldn't it be better to tell Jeong-hui in advance?'" as she was worried about any potential misunderstandings.

However, Jeong-hui lightened the mood with her characteristic wit.

She joked, "I'm confident because I'm wearing full makeup today," and "It's fine because I came out in my filming outfit," drawing laughter.

Yeong-ja has recently been at the center of speculation regarding her relationship with her husband, Yeong-cheol. After Yeong-ja deleted all photos taken with Yeong-cheol from her SNS and restricted her comment functions, rumors of divorce and discord began to circulate online.

However, neither party has released an official statement, and photos with Yeong-ja still remain on Yeong-cheol's SNS. Because of this, many argue that one should be cautious about concluding a change in their relationship based solely on unconfirmed circumstances.
