Jang Do-yeon's Ichon-dong Home Purchase Revealed After She Invites 15-Year Friend Shin Gi-ru to Gugi-dong

Comedian Jang Do-yeon's purchase of her own home became public through Shin Gi-ru, a friend she has known for 15 years, after Jang invited her to Gugi-dong.

On the May 29 episode of tvN variety show "Gugi-dong Friends," Jang Do-yeon, Lee Da-hee, Choi Daniel, Jang Keun-suk, Ahn Jae-hyun and Kyung Soo-jin were shown living together in the Gugi-dong house as a group of "dong-sa-chin," described in the program as friends of people who live together.

When everyone else went out, Jang Do-yeon was left alone at the house. She called a close friend and invited her over, saying, "Do you want to come here? This is the house I moved into."

The close friend turned out to be Shin Gi-ru, Jang Do-yeon's friend of 15 years. Shin asked, "House? Your house? Where, Ichon-dong?" When Jang replied, "I moved from Ichon-dong to Gugi-dong," Shin reacted in disbelief, saying, "It was only recently that you were happy because you bought a house." With that remark, Shin revealed that Jang Do-yeon had recently purchased her own home in Ichon-dong.

Laughing, Jang Do-yeon tried to mislead her by saying, "I also have a house in Gugi-dong. I am calling you because I am bored." Later, Shin Gi-ru arrived at the three-story house in Gugi-dong without knowing the situation, and she was visibly bewildered by the enormous scale of the home. "Is this a detention center or something? What is going on?" she said, looking confused.
