Jensen Huang Reveals NVIDIA's Hiring Criteria: 'Not Just Smart People, But This'
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang shares his unique hiring philosophy on You Quiz on the Block, emphasizing humanity and kindness over mere intelligence.
On the 10th, Jensen Huang, the head of the global semiconductor company NVIDIA, appeared on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' to share the company's talent recruitment standards. The appearance garnered significant attention even before the broadcast, as it marked the first time a global business leader had appeared on such an entertainment program.

Yoo Jae Suk asked Jensen Huang, "I heard you don't just hire smart people; is there something specific you look for?" regarding the employee recruitment criteria.
Jensen Huang revealed a fresh perspective: "Intelligence is practically a commodity. There are too many smart people in the world. There are countless great universities and millions of excellent students. Our society produces an enormous amount of intelligence. Intelligence is now a common commodity found everywhere. Moreover, we even have AI, don't we? The most important thing is humanity. If you are looking for someone to work with, you should look for someone who knows how to give. Having the mindset of 'I want you to succeed' is also a way of giving. Some people might feel bad when someone else succeeds. Personally, seeing someone succeed makes me happy."
He further advised, "Therefore, when hiring people, you should look for those who are generous and kind. Such qualities are truly valuable abilities. Those people will succeed anywhere. To succeed, surround yourself with such people."
