Jun Hyun-moo attempts extreme 29-hour overseas trip
Jun Hyun-moo faces an extreme challenge on 'I Live Alone,' flying 7 hours for a mere 29-hour trip to experience local markets and more.
Jun Hyun-moo is embarking on an 'ultra-compressed overseas trip,' enduring a 7-hour flight only to stay at his destination for a mere 29 hours. With no set plan and no time for rest, he will grab the steering wheel immediately upon arrival to rush through traditional markets, amusement parks, and famous restaurants—a literal 'impulsive trip.'

The spontaneous travelogue will be revealed in the upcoming episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone,' airing on the 14th.
After boarding a plane at Incheon International Airport and flying for approximately 7 hours, Jun arrives at his destination. However, excluding flight time, he has only 29 hours on the ground. The combination of a short 2-day, 1-night schedule and a long-distance flight promises an extreme journey from the very start.
Upon arrival, Jun immediately takes the wheel. Rather than following a tightly packed itinerary, he drives toward places that catch his interest, soaking in the scenery of the unfamiliar city.
“I was in Korea just a moment ago,” Jun remarked, expressing disbelief at how quickly the landscape changed from his home country to this new environment. Despite the short duration, he clearly relishes the sense of liberation from his daily routine.
His first stop is a local traditional market, where he wanders through the stalls to taste local specialties and soak up the atmosphere. In an unexpected turn, locals recognize him, leading to an impromptu fan-meeting.
The whirlwind trip continues from day to night. While heading out to see the night view, Jun encounters an unexpected situation in the darkness, shouting in panic, “Why is this happening!” as he becomes utterly terrified.
The amusement park offers no respite either. While he initially leans into the excitement, he soon transforms into a shell of his former self, providing plenty of comedic moments.
Even amidst the chaos, he refuses to miss out on food. As a feast fills the table, Jun exclaims, “The visuals are insane!” before diving into a full-scale mukbang.
The restaurant Jun visits is drawing extra attention as it was recommended by Lee Joo Seung and Gu Seong Hwan, who have previously shown great travel chemistry on 'I Live Alone.' A major highlight will be seeing what flavors Jun discovers at the spot personally recommended by the duo.
Unlike a typical overseas vacation, there is no leisure in Jun's itinerary. He flies 7 hours to compress as much of the local experience as possible into 29 hours, hitting markets, amusement parks, and restaurants before continuing his journey late into the night.
Perhaps the charm of this trip lies in its very 'inefficiency.' It is a signature 'Jun Hyun-moo style' of travel that defies the conventional wisdom that long-distance trips require long stays, instead attempting to experience as many scenes as possible in a single, frantic burst.
