Jun Hyun-moo's ramen obsession: Spilled soup on script during Mexico flight

Entertainer Jun Hyun-moo brought laughter to viewers by revealing a hilarious anecdote about his inability to resist ramen, even on his flight back from Mexico for World Cup broadcasting. He shared an "in-flight mukbang" episode where he was eating ramen while reviewing his script and even spilled soup on it.

In the 7th episode of MBN and Channel S's "No Plans At All" aired on the 14th, Jun and KwakTube visited Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do, to explore a Budae-jjigae (army stew) restaurant recommended by locals.

Visiting Uijeongbu for the first time, KwakTube chose Budae-jjigae as the first food that came to mind, and Jun agreed, noting that Budae-jjigae is one of the representative foods of Korea. The two immediately went out onto the streets to get recommendations from citizens and headed to the Budae-jjigae restaurant chosen by the residents.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, the two expressed their anticipation while looking at the autographs of famous people covering the walls. KwakTube showed interest in the history of how Budae-jjigae was created, asking if there is still a US military base in Uijeongbu.

In response, Jun brought up personal memories related to the food, recalling his experience training in Uijeongbu while preparing for the KATUSA exam in the past.

A short while later, as the bubbling Budae-jjigae was served, the two began their full-scale mukbang. However, amidst the conversation about food, an unexpected episode from Jun's recent overseas schedule was revealed.

Jun confessed that he recently traveled to Mexico for three days for World Cup broadcasting, and during that time, he ate about twice as much ramen as usual.

KwakTube exposed Jun's appetite, claiming he witnessed the scene firsthand.

"I could smell the ramen nearby. It turned out he was eating a huge amount of ramen behind me," KwakTube said. He noted that Jun's intense search for ramen, even amidst a busy schedule of broadcasting and traveling, was captured exactly as it happened.

Jun did not bother to deny it.

Instead, he went a step further, causing laughter by confessing, "A few drops of ramen soup had fallen on my script."

It meant he was so immersed in his mukbang that he even spilled ramen soup on the script he had spread out while preparing for the broadcast. Following KwakTube's exposure, the scene turned into a sea of laughter as Jun reenacted the situation himself.

Jun's love for ramen has now moved beyond a simple food preference to become a recurring character trait on his shows. His image of eating regardless of dignity or situation when delicious food is placed before him fits perfectly with the travel concept of "No Plans At All."
