KCM's daughter reveals emotional pain from being hidden

Singer KCM has shared a heartfelt conversation with his eldest daughter, whom he was unable to introduce to the public for 15 years. His decision to introduce his second daughter first to protect his adolescent daughter from unwanted attention resulted in unexpected emotional pain, leaving KCM unable to hide his deep regret in the face of her honest confession.

In the episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman' aired on the 22nd, a special date in Hongik University between KCM and his 15-year-old daughter, Suyeon, was depicted.

On this day, KCM visited Hongik University with his daughter for the first time alone, where they spent an ordinary yet special day getting caricatures drawn, picking out clothes together, and eating tteokbokki. Afterward, the two moved to the Han River to continue their relaxing time.

KCM expressed his emotions, saying, "Today is the first time I've come to the Han River with just my daughter," and when he asked, "What was the most fun thing today?", Suyeon smiled and replied, "Everything was good."

Looking at their four-cut photos taken together, KCM marveled, "How do our eyes look exactly the same? We look so much alike," and Suyeon added, creating a heartwarming atmosphere by responding, "I think I look like him because Dad's eyes are prettier than Mom's."

However, amidst the warm atmosphere, KCM brought up the regret he had held in his heart for a long time.

Due to past financial difficulties, he had been unable to disclose his marriage and the existence of his eldest daughter for a long time, but he recently introduced her to the world through 'The Return of Superman.'

KCM confessed, "Suyeon isn't the type of person who naturally likes being the center of attention, so I was very worried after the broadcast aired. I kept worrying about whether her school life was okay and if her friends were saying anything to her."

In response, Suyeon said, "I thought there would be friends who tease me, but instead, many friends were worried and asked, 'That must have been hard' or 'Are you okay?'" Hearing this, the studio expressed relief, saying, "She met good friends."

During the conversation, KCM cautiously asked the question he was most curious about.

"Was there ever a time you felt hurt by Dad?"

After thinking for a moment, Suyeon brought up the story she had kept in her heart for the first time.

"When only my younger sister, An Seo-yeon, was introduced first."

She continued calmly, "People thought Seo-yeon was the eldest. But I am the eldest... When I saw that, my heart felt a bit that way."
