Kim Ji-min and Kim Jun-ho enjoy VIP fireworks view from Han River home
Comedian Kim Ji-min shares a spectacular view of the Seoul Fireworks Festival from her 77-pyeong Han River apartment with husband Kim Jun-ho.
Comedian Kim Ji-min fully enjoyed the Seoul fireworks festival from the newlywed home she shares with her husband, Kim Jun-ho. As the Han River view apartment—known to be approximately 77 pyeong in size—emerged as a 'Fengshui' spot offering a direct view of the festival, intense interest has turned toward the couple's new life together.

On the 5th, Kim posted a video on her social media with the caption, "Doing the eve festival like this, as if it's the main event? Hanwha's scale!!" The video captured the spectacular fireworks as seen from inside the house. The unobstructed view, allowing her to watch the fireworks unfolding over the Han River directly from her living room without any travel, caught many eyes.
The 'Seoul International Fireworks Festival 2026 with Hanwha' was scheduled to be held around the Yeouido Han River Park area in Seoul. Prior to this, an eve festival was held on the 4th around the Yeouido and Ichon Han River Park areas, and it appears Kim watched it from her newlywed home in Ichon-dong. While massive crowds flock to the banks of the Han River every year to watch the fireworks, her home itself essentially became a private viewing seat.
The newlywed home of Kim Ji-min and Kim Jun-ho is located in an apartment in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The residential space has an exclusive area of 203㎡ (approximately 77 pyeong), and it was reported that a unit of this type was traded in the Jeonse lease market for 2.6 billion won in February this year. With the purchase price estimated between 5.0 and 5.4 billion won, the home garnered significant attention at the time of their marriage.
The couple previously revealed on broadcasts that their home is a Jeonse lease rather than owned, and that they prepared it by splitting the deposit equally. As one of the most prominent couples in the entertainment industry, their residence drew significant public interest following their marriage after a long relationship.
The marriage of Kim Ji-min and Kim Jun-ho has been a major topic in the comedy industry. Having met as colleagues, the two maintained a public relationship for about three years before marrying last year. Given Kim's previous marriage, their relationship carries a realistic narrative of 'remarriage and a new family' that goes beyond being just a celebrity couple.
Since their marriage, they have also shared their journey of expanding their family. The couple underwent IVF treatment and recently received congratulations after announcing her pregnancy. The child is expected to be a son, with a due date in February next year.
The two, who provided laughter for a long time as a bickering comedy duo on broadcasts, are now preparing to become a married couple and parents. Watching the fireworks together from their spacious home overlooking the Han River creates a new daily landscape for them, distinct from their days of public dating.
The short video released by Kim highlighted the unobstructed view of the home as much as the spectacular fireworks. Given that they could leisurely watch a massive festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators to the Han River banks every year, from behind their window, the scene truly deserved to be called a 'VIP seat inside the house.'
