Shim Soo-chang Reveals Living in a Monthly Rental Studio After Divorce
On TV CHOSUN's 'Lovers of Joseon,' Shim Soo-chang opens up about his divorce, his desire for a new family, and his current life in a studio apartment.
On the 22nd, former baseball player turned entertainer Shim Soo-chang will participate in Yang Sang-guk's 'Grade 6 Club' audition on TV CHOSUN's 'Lovers of Joseon.'

In the preview video, Shim Soo-chang expresses his thoughts on remarriage for the first time since his divorce last year. Yang Sang-guk asks, "Is it okay to reveal your process of dreaming of love and getting married again through broadcasting, even though there is pain involved?"
Shim Soo-chang replies, "I contacted my ex-wife. She said she hoped things would go well for me."
Kim Guk-jin expresses surprise at the mature relationship between the two, noting, "Seeing that she is cheering you on means you had a good breakup."
Regarding his pursuit of new love, Shim Soo-chang shares his plans for a second generation, stating, "I originally wanted to have children quickly. Since I don't have children, seeing a junior's son being drafted as a professional player this time made me think even more about finding new love sooner."
Regarding his changed life after the divorce, he confesses, "I owned my own home, but I let go of many things during the divorce. Now, I am starting a new life in a small studio apartment, paying monthly rent."
After receiving a 'Grade 6' rating from a marriage information company, Yang Sang-guk has formed the 'Grade 6 Club' with men in similar situations to carry out a marriage project.
