Woo Ji-won's Daughter Woo Seo-yoon Draws Attention After Showing Star Quality Since Childhood

Woo Seo-yoon, the daughter of former basketball player Woo Ji-won, has been drawing sustained public attention after advancing to the national finals of Miss Korea. As interest grows around her pageant achievement, her earlier television appearances are also being revisited.

On June 2, Woo Seo-yoon posted her acceptance remarks on her social media account, writing, "I am Woo Seo-yoon, Seon of the 2026 Miss Seoul-Gyeonggi-Incheon competition. I feel even more grateful and honored to have received both Seon and the Daily Labs Award on the glorious stage of the 70th anniversary."

At the 70th Miss Korea Miss Seoul-Gyeonggi-Incheon Selection Competition, held on May 27 in Jangchung-dong, Seoul, Woo Seo-yoon won Seon, a placement corresponding to second place, as well as the Daily Labs Award, a special prize. The results drew attention to her appearance and helped establish her as a contestant headed for the main Miss Korea stage.

Woo Seo-yoon had already appeared on television before adulthood. She was seen on SBS's "Star Junior Show Bungeoppang" and JTBC's "Yujasik Sangpalja," where her cute looks attracted notice and suggested early promise.

In 2018, when she was a middle school student, she appeared on the tvN variety program "Nest Escape 3." After becoming an adult, she also appeared on the tvN STORY and E Channel variety program "My Kid's Romance 2," showing qualities that suggested potential for work in entertainment.

Woo Seo-yoon is scheduled to take the stage at the national finals of the 70th Miss Korea Selection Competition, which will be held on August 22.
