A video reportedly showing women fighting after aespa’s Seattle concert has spread across Reddit and other social media platforms. Whether the women were aespa fans, why they fought and their relationship to one another remain unconfirmed.
A video reportedly showing several women brawling after aespa’s concert in Seattle, United States, has spread online, drawing reactions from viewers in South Korea and abroad. Although the women were presumed to be fans attending the show, neither their connection to aespa nor the cause of the fight has been confirmed.
The footage circulated on Reddit and other social media platforms on the 15th and was said to have been filmed around the time of the Seattle performance. It shows several women entangled in a fight, throwing punches and kicking one another as passersby watch from a distance, appearing bewildered.

The violent confrontation drew rapid attention because it took place where people had gathered to enjoy a concert. Viewers expressed shock at the punching and kicking, which went beyond a verbal argument. The footage alone, however, does not establish how the fight began or how those involved knew one another.
Online reactions ranged from disbelief to caution. Comments included “What are they doing?”, “What’s going on?”, “What is there to fight about at a concert?” and “Is this real?” Other viewers said, “This seems unrelated to aespa,” urging caution about directly linking the confrontation to the performance.

aespa has been on its fourth world tour, SYNK : COMPLæXITY, since August. Its recent tour itinerary in the Americas included Dallas, LA, Auckland and Seattle, as well as Vancouver, Canada. The Seattle concert took place at Climate Pledge Arena on the 9th.
The group is scheduled to resume the tour in January next year with performances in Europe. While the video associated with the Seattle show continues to attract attention, the women’s identities as fans, the reason for the fight and its precise circumstances remain unclear. Those unresolved details call for caution in drawing a direct connection between the incident and the concert or the artists.
