BIG Naughty confirms marriage, releases Vancouver 3 on wife’s birthday

Rapper BIG Naughty has legally married his longtime crush, the woman who inspired several of his love songs, and marked her birthday by releasing the music video for his new song, “Vancouver 3.”

A representative of his agency, H1GHR MUSIC, confirmed on the 15th that the couple had already registered their marriage. BIG Naughty had shared the news himself a day earlier, on the 14th, in a chat room with fans.

“I wanted to tell you first, before other people found out,” he said. “You may already know, and this may come as a surprise, but I’ve decided to spend my life with the person behind many of my songs, including ‘Vancouver’ and ‘Vancouver 2.’”

The unexpected announcement surprised fans and drew congratulations, particularly because his wife is the person whose relationship with him has been reflected in his music. Listeners responded to the news as a love story that had moved from his songs into married life.

On the 15th, the day after announcing the marriage, BIG Naughty released the “Vancouver 3” music video on YouTube as a birthday gift for his wife.
