Stage 28 is located on the former residence site of veteran actor Shin Young-kyun (99), EJAE's maternal grandfather, and is the home of the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation; it is also reported that EJAE's older brother held his wedding at this location.

Having first met as colleagues in a songwriting session in 2017, EJAE and Sam Kim developed a romantic relationship through their musical bond and promised to marry upon getting engaged at the end of 2023.
