Gu Seong Hwan Takes a Food-Focused Motorcycle Ride With Friend He Met at License Test

Actor Gu Seong Hwan will take a motorcycle ride with a friend 26 years his junior, whom he first met in the waiting room at a motorcycle license test center last winter. The two had taken the same test and both failed. After exchanging contact information, they stayed in touch and will now ride together on their own motorcycles.

Their outing will be featured on MBC’s variety show I Live Alone, airing at 11 p.m. on the 16th. Wearing a helmet, sunglasses and gloves, Gu heads to Hangang Park, where he arrives excited for the ride. When he spots his friend, he greets him with, “Brother!”

Gu has planned a food-focused route for the younger friend. “Make sure you keep up with your big brother!” he says as he takes the lead. The ride is planned to include good food and special places as well as time on the road.

After crossing the Han River, the two arrive at their first destination. Gu says it was a place he had put on a list of spots to visit with a girlfriend. He will be introducing a place he had kept on that list to his new friend.

Gu is known for his unvarnished everyday manner and approachable charm. The program will show him spending time comfortably with a friend much younger than himself and sharing places he likes.

Gu made his film debut in 2004 with Low Life. His acting credits include the films 26 Years and A Taxi Driver, and the dramas Stove League, Through the Darkness and Uncle Samsik. Through I Live Alone, he has also shared a more casual side of his life.
