Ralral's daughter proposes to Kim Jun-ho's son—the response: "I'll think about it"
During a fall outing in Jinan, Ralral's daughter Seo-bin made a bold marriage proposal to Jeong-u, the son of former national fencer Kim Jun-ho, only to receive a cautious response.
“Aren't you going to marry me?”
Creator Ralral's daughter Seo-bin launched a bold proposal to Jeong-u, the son of former national fencing athlete Kim Jun-ho. Following her mother's subtle "Son-in-law Kim" operation, Seo-bin herself confessed her feelings, but the response returned was more cautious than expected. Seo-bin, who ambitiously tried to confirm their love, eventually showed cute disappointment by putting down the twisted doughnut she was eating, and laughter erupted in the studio at the children's honest expressions of emotion.
In the episode of the KBS 2TV variety program "The Return of Superman" broadcast on the 14th, Kim Jun-ho and his son Jeong-u, along with Ralral and her daughter Seo-bin, went on a fall outing to Jinan, Jeonbuk. While having a good time eating and playing together, the playful atmosphere among the adults surrounding the two children heated up in earnest. In particular, Ralral drew laughter by calling Jeong-u "Son-in-law Kim" as if he were her future son-in-law whenever she saw him.
Watching the children enjoy eating large twisted doughnuts, Ralral paired the two children together, saying, “They eat so well. As expected, they are a perfect couple. Son-in-law Kim and our Seo-bin.” Kim Jun-ho was so flustered by the sudden title that he even choked. He asked Ralral, “Noona, why do you keep calling him Son-in-law Kim?” but Ralral did not back down. She cheekily replied, “Haven't you heard the news? To Son-in-law Kim,” adding, “Our conversation is already finished. With Son-in-law Kim.” The sight of the adults getting ahead of the actual children involved provided laughter.
Ralral's teasing did not stop there. She asked Jeong-u directly, “Son-in-law Kim, you're going to marry our Seo-bin, right?” When Jeong-u, who is not yet familiar with the concept of marriage, asked back, “But what is marriage?”, Ralral explained, “Marriage is when two people become one and love each other forever as a pair.” Hearing her mother's serious yet bold explanation, Seo-bin expressed her feelings toward Jeong-u as if she had been waiting for the moment.
Seo-bin threw a direct confession at Jeong-u, asking, “Aren't you going to marry me?” While she might have been shy given the atmosphere created by the adults, her appearance of expressing her feelings without hesitation caught everyone's attention. A moment of silence followed the sudden question, and watching this, Kim Jun-ho expressed envy, saying, “Jeong-u is lucky.” However, the answer that actually came out of Jeong-u's mouth was different from what Seo-bin had expected.
After thinking for a moment, Jeong-u replied, “Let me think about it, Seo-bin.” It was a cautious yet honest reaction, unlike what one would expect from someone of his young age. It seemed to be an unexpected answer for Seo-bin, who had expected an immediate acceptance. Seo-bin appeared shocked and put down the delicious twisted doughnut she was eating, then showed signs of being upset by asking Ralral to wipe her hands. The result of the first proposal, which made her forget even the sweet snack for a moment, drew laughter.
That is not to say that Jeong-u ignored Seo-bin. Jeong-u personally wiped Seo-bin's hands and comforted her affectionately. Seeing this, Kim Jun-ho spoke for his son, saying, “Even if Jeong-u can't say it with words, he expresses himself well through actions.” Although he did not give a definitive answer with words, he expressed his feelings through actions by taking care of her. Ralral also praised Jeong-u's affectionate side, saying, “Even then, he was so considerate and held her hand. The child can't forget that.”
With Seo-bin's bold confession, Jeong-u's cautious answer, and the affectionate act of wiping hands, the two children became the cute protagonists of this broadcast. The "Son-in-law Kim" operation, which started from the adults' teasing, led to an unexpected proposal, and finally added warmth with the children's pure consideration and emotional expression. Attention is focused on whether Seo-bin's direct affection offensive will continue and what kind of laughter the two children's sweet chemistry will provide to viewers in the future.
