Jang Wonyoung has transformed into a 'hero' this time. However, rather than showing off grand superpowers, she made fans laugh when she was captured using outdoor gym equipment, spraying mosquito repellent, and even enjoying a nap lying on a bench.

On the 5th, a video was released on IVE's official SNS showing an unidentified figure speeding along the Han River bank on a bicycle. Wearing a mask reminiscent of Batman, along with long gloves, boots, and a purple cape, the figure was an extraordinary hero to anyone watching.

However, this hero revealed their identity in an unexpected way. They personally pasted promotional posters for IVE's new album 'Looks Can Kill' on a wall near the Han River. Subsequently, as individuals in similar outfits were spotted throughout Seoul, the IVE members' 'Hero Project' began to be fully unveiled.

The members continued their absurd yet relatable actions. They roamed the downtown area of Seoul in a manner completely different from typical heroes, such as reading newspapers on building rooftops, cleaning subway platform floors, and enjoying city bus tours.

Among them, the most intense scene featured a hero presumed to be Jang Wonyoung. Appearing at a so-called 'sans-jang' (outdoor gym) located in the mountains, she sprayed mosquito repellent on her body, used the exercise equipment, and eventually flopped down on a bench to take a nap. It was a scene that inevitably triggered laughter due to the combination of the glamorous hero costume and such ordinary behavior.

Netizens' reactions were explosive. They drew enthusiastic responses from fans in a way completely different from traditional girl group teasers, with comments such as "It's a relatable hero," "I've never seen anything like this in my life," "It's funny just based on pure vibes," and "I'm an IVE fan starting today."

This move is a spin-off project utilizing the 'Girl Hero' concept of IVE's upcoming new mini-album 'Looks Can Kill'. The teasing images released on the 2nd also drew attention by capturing the members' unique personalities in a format that seemed to reveal the casting of a hero movie.

IVE plans to ramp up the comeback atmosphere by sequentially releasing various contents such as 'Hero Comics', 'Hero on Set', and 'Spin-off'. The title track of the same name, 'Looks Can Kill', will be released on the 19th, and all songs from the mini-album will be unveiled on the 26th. Attention is focused on what other whimsical scenes Jang Wonyoung will show within the grand hero universe.
