Jung Eun-woo Exposes HINAPIA Re-debut: "A 100-pyeong Practice Room? I Just Laughed"
Former Pristin member Jung Eun-woo has shared behind-the-scenes stories regarding her re-debut with the girl group HINAPIA, claiming that the reality of their contract and facilities differed significantly from what was promised by investors.

Jung Eun-woo, formerly of Pristin, has belatedly revealed behind-the-scenes stories from the time she re-debuted with the second girl group, HINAPIA. She claims that after experiencing the disbandment of her first group, she dreamed of a new start with members who reunited, but contrary to expectations, incomprehensible events followed from the moment the contract was signed. In particular, while explaining the situation at the time, Jung Eun-woo piqued curiosity by describing the team she was active in as being "somewhat close to a Shincheonji group."
On the 6th, Jung Eun-woo released a video on her SNS with the caption, "This is a truly huge story. I'm finally releasing this story now." In the video, she personally explained the process of how she came to be active again as HINAPIA after Pristin's disbandment, revealing the events she experienced during the contract process one by one. She disclosed personal experiences regarding the re-debut process that had not been specifically known until now.
According to Jung Eun-woo, after Pristin's activities ended, she decided to form a new team with members who shared the same intentions. Although group activities had already been thwarted once, she explained that her desire to create another opportunity with the members she had been with was great. During this time, they met a new investor, and this investor reportedly highly valued the members' talents and expressed a strong intention to support them.
Jung Eun-woo recalled that at the time, the investor spoke of supporting them so they could engage in activities they wanted, including album production and even commercial shoots. Jung Eun-woo conveyed the situation at the time, saying, "They said they would let us do everything we wanted to do," and "They said they would release albums and let us film CFs." Since it was a second chance that was not easily found for members who had already experienced a team disbandment, they ultimately decided on the contract thinking it was their last chance.
However, she claimed that after the contract, circumstances appeared that were different from the expected image. Jung Eun-woo said she heard that they were building a dormitory and a practice room just for themselves. She remembered the scale being around 100 pyeong and even received photos of the construction in progress, but she confessed that upon seeing the photos, she suspected they were "photos that look like they were taken from Google."
It is said that things became even stranger after she checked the actual practice room. Jung Eun-woo claimed that after hearing the practice room was completed, she went to visit in person, but there was only one small practice room in a small building that was entirely different from the scale she had expected. She recalled, "I felt a chilling sensation from that moment." While her initial expectation of gaining a new opportunity was great, the situation she faced in reality was different from the explanation.
Jung Eun-woo did not specifically disclose what happened afterward. The video explaining her experience ended in the middle, and she announced that the content would continue in part 2. Therefore, it is difficult to conclude the specific actions of the investor or the agency, the actual conditions of the contract, or the relationship with religious organizations based only on the currently released content. In particular, since the expression 'Shincheonji group' mentioned by Jung Eun-woo is a personal expression she used while explaining her experience at the time, it needs to be distinguished from facts confirmed to be an official relationship with a religious organization.
HINAPIA was a 5-member girl group consisting of Pristin members Min-kyeong, Gyeong-won, Eun-woo, Ye-bin, and new member Bada. They debuted in November 2019 with the single 'DRIP', but were unable to continue active promotions afterward, and OSR Entertainment announced in August 2020 that they had terminated exclusive contracts with the members and would disband the team. At the time, the agency stated that the decision to disband was made through sufficient discussion with the members and under mutual agreement, but did not disclose the specific background.
For Jung Eun-woo, HINAPIA was a second challenge to grab hold of a dream that had collapsed once. She appeared on Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016, recording 21st place, and debuted as a member of Pristin the following year. However, activities stopped as Pristin disbanded in 2019, and she took to the stage again as HINAPIA in the same year. As the second group also finished its activities in about 9 months, she ultimately experienced two girl group debuts and disbandments.
Because of this, this exposure goes beyond a simple recollection of the past and makes one look back at the ups and downs Jung Eun-woo experienced through two girl group activities. In particular, as the story revealed in the first video is limited to some circumstances at the time of the contract, attention is gathering on what additional experiences Jung Eun-woo will reveal in the announced part 2. As Jung Eun-woo, who is currently continuing activities such as variety shows and YouTube, has begun to personally unfold stories she had not disclosed for years, attention is focused on how much of the behind-the-scenes story hidden behind HINAPIA's short period of activity will be revealed.
