Actor Kim Min, who has captured viewers' attention with his unadorned daily life on the MBC variety show "I Live Alone," is receiving praise for his humble attitude shown off-camera. After being approached by a YouTuber he had never met before for a photo and an interview, Kim readily accepted the requests and even led the conversation, revealing a friendly charm. Reactions suggest that the natural persona seen on broadcast is consistent with his real-life behavior.

A video titled "Kim Min met in Dongducheon" was recently released on the YouTube channel Photo CJ. CJ, the channel operator and a street photographer, happened to spot Kim Min while exploring a Japanese village in Dongducheon. Approaching the unexpected celebrity cautiously, CJ introduced himself as a YouTuber filming content.

Kim Min's reaction was natural. When CJ mentioned, "I was out filming and saw you there," Kim responded playfully, "It's a good place to film, right? That's true." Rather than being flustered or keeping his distance in the sudden situation, he responded comfortably to the other person's words.

CJ cautiously asked Kim if he could pose for a photo. Kim accepted the request without hesitation and actively complied with the various poses suggested by the photographer. His willingness to fulfill the request of a stranger created a natural atmosphere at the filming site.

When asked if he could talk for a moment, Kim readily agreed. He even initiated conversation by asking, "Have you been doing photography for a long time?" He shared his thoughts, stating, "Nowadays, it is harder to have a hobby. If you are overwhelmed by your main job, you don't even have time to enjoy a hobby." When CJ asked about behind-the-scenes stories from his appearance on the YouTube channel Kkondaehee, Kim spoke comfortably about the experience.

He also expressed affection for his hometown, Dongducheon. "Dongducheon is my hometown. My mother lives here," Kim explained. "I used to live abroad but came back for a short time, and I ended up staying because my father passed away." He welcomed the changes in the area, noting, "It's nice to see places like this opening up in Dongducheon." Against the backdrop of the Japanese village, he joked about his outfit, saying, "Dressing like this makes me look like a Japanese person," which lightened the mood.

His advice to aspiring actors was also notable. When CJ asked for a final word for aspiring juniors, Kim said, "Whether you succeed or not is a matter for later. I think doing what you want to do is the most important thing." He offered realistic encouragement, adding, "You never know when an opportunity will come, so if you are always working hard and doing well, it will happen at some point." CJ added to the heartwarming story by mentioning that Kim even bought him coffee before they parted.

Upon the video's release, subscribers poured out praise for Kim's attitude. Reactions included comments such as, "It's so good that he doesn't act arrogant just because he's a celebrity," "It's not easy to grant a request from a stranger, so he's cool," and "He is kind, has a good personality, and it's touching," noting how pleasant it was to see him approach a stranger without hesitation. His attitude of treating others comfortably rather than relying on his fame left a deep impression on the public.

Kim Min debuted in the 2011 drama "Power Rangers Samurai" and has built a filmography including the films "The Roundup: No Way Out" and "Smugglers," as well as the dramas "A Shop for Killers" and "Revers." Recently, he drew attention on MBC's "I Live Alone" by revealing his simple life centered around Dongducheon, earning him the nickname "Dongducheon Natural Person." As his unadorned daily life, which captivated viewers on broadcast, was fully revealed during this chance encounter, favorability toward Kim Min is increasing further.
