O Jeong-yeon names Im Si Wan and Yeonjun as ideal types

Broadcaster O Jeong-yeon has shared her honest thoughts on remarriage 14 years after her divorce. However, her criteria are quite specific. O Jeong-yeon stated, "If I don't fall in love at first sight, I can't meet them," and named Im Si Wan and Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun as her ideal types.

On the 24th, a video titled "O Jeong-yeon's Hidden Prayer Spot in Seoul, Okcheonam Hermitage, Where She Prayed Earnestly to Escape Single Life!" was released on the YouTube channel Seong Gyeong Goes to the Temple. During the filming, Kim Chae Yeon jokingly asked O Jeong-yeon, who was imitating her, "You didn't imitate my divorce too, did you?" to which O Jeong-yeon replied, "That had nothing to do with you," drawing laughter.

When the production team asked about her intention to remarry, suggesting, "Can't you just do it again? This time, with marriage," O Jeong-yeon expressed her desire to meet someone who aligns with her values. She said, "People often misunderstand me based on my appearance, but I live a life that is quite distant from worldly affairs. I am happy when I do something fun, and I am happy when I can just lounge around while resting."

She explained that her ideal partner would be someone who understands her lifestyle and values—someone who works harder than anyone else for self-actualization when working, but allows her to rest comfortably when she is off. Kim advised, "There are many such people. Don't decide whether someone can do that for you before you even get to know them."

However, O Jeong-yeon's dating style was unexpectedly firm. She confessed, "If I don't fall in love at first sight, I really can't meet anyone." This led Kim to remark, "I didn't fall in love with my husband at first sight," revealing the starkly different dating perspectives between the two.

Her ideal types were also specific. While laughing and saying, "There's no point in saying this," O Jeong-yeon revealed, "I like styles like Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun or Im Si Wan." She added, "The kind of style where even if I'm angry, my anger melts away just by looking at their face," which elicited laughter.

Conversely, the types she absolutely cannot accept were also clear. O Jeong-yeon emphasized, "I dislike people who are rude or have a desire to control others. It's also a no-go if we can't communicate." In particular, she confessed, "I think 'I don't know, I'm not talking' is the worst," highlighting that communication is vital in her relationships.

O Jeong-yeon married former basketball player Seo Jang Hoon in 2009 and they divorced by mutual agreement in 2012. Having remained single for a long time since then, attention is now focused on what kind of person might make her fall in love at first sight and lead her to consider marriage again.
