Park Ha-sun to leave 'Cine Town' after nearly six years
Actress Park Ha-sun is leaving her long-running radio program, SBS PowerFM's 'Cine Town,' due to a heavy schedule of acting and variety show commitments.
Actress Park Ha-sun is stepping down from SBS PowerFM's 'Cine Town' due to a busy schedule of dramas and plays extending through next autumn. Actress Lee El will take over the morning hosting duties starting on the 2nd.

Actress Park Ha-sun is stepping down from the radio program she has hosted for nearly six years. The decision was not due to a loss of affection for the show, but rather the difficulty of managing daily live broadcasts alongside a busy schedule of fixed variety shows, stage plays, and drama filming that extends through next autumn.
On the 1st, Park Ha-sun shared her feelings regarding her departure from SBS PowerFM's 'Cine Town' by posting a handwritten letter on her account. "It has already been nearly six years since I started 'Cine Town,' a radio show I really wanted to try," she said, adding, "It is truly a shame, but I am stepping down at this point."
She explained the specific background behind her decision. She is currently participating in three fixed variety programs and one seasonal variety show, while simultaneously appearing on stage in plays and filming dramas. With multiple projects scheduled through next autumn, she confessed that it has become realistically difficult to balance these roles with live radio broadcasts.
Park Ha-sun emphasized, "I am not quitting because I dislike radio." She explained that while she feels great regret because she has breathed with listeners every morning for a long time, she has decided to put down the microphone for now to focus on her various responsibilities as an actress. She left a lingering farewell, promising a day when they might meet again.
She did not forget to express gratitude to those who were with her. Park Ha-sun thanked her manager, the production staff, station employees, and her family, and offered a special greeting to the listeners. Calling her fans "Terius," she said, "I don't know how someone like me could provide comfort and strength through warm words. I am so grateful that you tuned in every day at 11:00 AM. Thanks to you, I was able to spend these six years well."
Park Ha-sun is continuing her farewell by sharing photos and videos containing memories from her time hosting the radio show. Radio, which involves meeting listeners at the same time every day, becomes a part of a host's daily life. As she leaves behind the intimate relationship built over nearly six years to focus on new activities, this departure leaves a sense of regret beyond a simple change of hosts.
The successor to take over hosting duties for 'Cine Town' is actress Lee El. Lee El will meet listeners and take responsibility for the new morning time slot starting from the 2nd.
