Jewelry singer Seo In-young to remarry on December 26
Singer Seo In-young announced on her YouTube channel that she will remarry a businessman on December 26, opting for a minimalist ceremony that excludes traditional elements like congratulatory songs and floral decorations.
Jewelry singer Seo In-young announced on YouTube that she will remarry CEO Choi Ji-hun on December 26. The small-scale church ceremony will omit floral decorations and congratulatory songs, including a performance by Lyn, to focus on the essence of the marriage.

Seo In-young (42), a singer from the group Jewelry, will remarry on December 26. Shortly after announcing her marriage, she drew attention once again by personally revealing the specific date. Notably, unlike her past wedding, this ceremony is expected to be a small-scale event that will omit even congratulatory songs and floral decorations.
On December 4, a video titled "Seo In-young making kimchi for the family while getting scolded by her venomous dad (Wedding date announcement)" was released on the YouTube channel Gaegwacheonseon Seo In-young. While having a meal with her family at her parents' home, Seo In-young casually declared, "I'm getting married on the 26th" during the conversation.
The production crew was flustered by the sudden announcement, asking, "What are you talking about?" Unfazed, Seo In-young asserted, "I'm getting married on December 26. Save the time." Following the surprise date reveal, her blunt manner of requesting their attendance instantly shifted the atmosphere on set.
She was also candid about the reason for rushing the marriage. In response to the question, "Suddenly?", Seo In-young replied, "Yeah, to get it over with quickly. We'll do it at a church, small-scale." Her stepmother also supported the decision, saying, "If I were doing it, I told her to do it quickly. Don't let it pass this year."
The guest list was also disclosed. When asked if any celebrities would attend, Seo In-young stated, "They are coming. Jewelry, friends from Japan, and Lyn are coming." Lyn is the individual who sang the congratulatory song at Seo In-young's first wedding, drawing interest into whether the connection between the two will continue this time.
However, congratulatory songs will be excluded from this ceremony. Seo In-young confessed, "I left out the congratulatory song this time. I'm just not going to do anything. I've removed all the flowers, too. I've removed all the bad memories." Her choice of a simple and quiet wedding over flashy production or special events appears to reflect a desire to give a different meaning to the ceremony compared to her past wedding.
Her stepmother also emphasized that the marriage itself is more important than vanity. She said, "Living well is what matters; vanity is useless." Seo In-young also expressed her intention to focus on the essence of marriage by stripping away unnecessary formalities and decorations this time.
Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman in 2023 but underwent a mutual divorce about a year later. Since then, she drew interest by announcing this year in June that she would remarry CEO Choi Ji-hun, a businessman six years her senior. As Seo In-young prepares for a new start in a different way ahead of her second marriage, eyes are on the modest ceremony to be held on December 26.
