Former Miss Korea Kim Min-kyung Shares Joy Over Pregnancy at 44

Actress Kim Min-kyung, a former Miss Korea titleholder, has shared her happiness as she moves through pregnancy at the age of 44.

Kim recently revealed her figure at six months pregnant, giving fans an update on how both she and her baby are doing. On May 29, she wrote on her personal account, "My belly and Dolphini are both growing well," using the affectionate name Dolphini for the baby.

She also described the quiet changes of daily life as an expectant mother. "I can feel little kicks now," Kim wrote. She explained that she is usually not good at staying still at home, but these days she even puts off housework so she can focus all her attention on her belly and try to feel the baby's movements. She said she has been spending more time sharpening all her senses in order to notice each movement from the child.

In the photos she shared, Kim is seen taking selfies while wearing a bra top and leggings. She also posted an ultrasound image, expressing affection for the fetus by writing, "Our Dolphini, look at that head shape. Mom will eat even more evenly and well. Please grow up healthy and strong."

Kim first celebrated her pregnancy on May 9. "I never thought I would be making a pregnancy announcement at this age," she wrote at the time. "A precious child has come to me. I believe God answered by showing that my father is happy in the Lord's arms."

Born in 1981, Kim married a non-celebrity in November last year.

Kim entered the entertainment industry after being crowned Miss Korea Jin in 2001. She later appeared in dramas including "To My Beloved Parents," "Famous Chil Princesses," "Mom's Dead Upset," "Padam Padam," and "Eve's Love." More recently, she has been active as the head of a wedding dress company.
