Pregnant Kim Min-kyung visits emergency room: 'It's hard to read the baby's signals'
Actress Kim Min-kyung shares her sudden emergency room visit and the anxieties of being an expectant mother at 45.
Actress Kim Min-kyung shared her honest feelings as an expectant mother, recounting a sudden emergency room visit during her pregnancy.

On the 6th, Kim shared her unexpected day via SNS, stating, "My plan for today was to wake up at 6:30 AM, travel via KTX, and return home after finishing interviews and meetings, but I have only just returned home after visiting the emergency room at 12:40 AM truly unexpected day.""
All her scheduled plans were halted, as she had no choice but to visit the hospital to check on the condition of her unborn baby.
"I shouldn't complain about my belly being itchy anymore," Kim confessed, adding, "But the questions asked at the hospital are so difficult and confusing."
She detailed the questions from medical staff, such as, "How often do you experience contractions?", "On a scale of 0 to 10, how much pain do you feel during contractions?", and "If fetal movement is usually a 10, how much is it now?" She admitted, "If it were my own body, I could answer easily, but explaining the baby's signals is so difficult."
She continued to express the anxiety and concerns common to expectant mothers, saying, "Even a small change makes me worry if something might be wrong with the baby."
Although she had to cancel her entire schedule, including interviews and meetings, due to the sudden emergency room visit, her devotion to her unborn child has evoked significant empathy from the public.
Born in 1981, Kim married a non-celebrity in 2024. In April, she received widespread congratulations after announcing her pregnancy, noting, "I didn't know I would be announcing my pregnancy at this age."
A former Miss Korea contestant from 2001, Kim has been consistently active in various works, including the dramas 'Mom's Dead Upset', 'Padam Padam', 'My Kids Give Me a Headache', and 'Eve's Love'.
