Actor Han Ga-in opened up about why she did not make a separate wedding album when she married her husband, actor Yeon Jung-hoon, and in the process shared a frank view of how she thinks about wedding photos and married life.

Han Ga-in reveals she hasn't made a wedding album with Yeon Jung-hoon

In a video released on July 2 through the YouTube channel "Free Wife Han Ga-in," a member of the production team was shown talking about concerns over taking wedding photos ahead of getting married. Responding to that conversation, Han Ga-in spoke candidly from her own experience, explaining how she views wedding photography and the idea of keeping a formal marriage album.

Han Ga-in said that even when couples take wedding photos, she does not think they often take them out and look through them in everyday life. She added with humor that her own wedding photos can easily be found online. According to Han, even her children show the photos from the internet when they say, "I'll show you Mom's wedding photos," a remark that brought laughter to the scene.

She went on to explain that the photos of her and Yeon Jung-hoon from their wedding are already familiar to many people, so the couple did not make a separate wedding album. Han said that, even at the time of the wedding, they kept only about two or three photos rather than preparing a full album.

As for the practical reason behind that choice, Han Ga-in said she thought it would not be easy to store and carry a wedding album every time they moved. Because of that, she decided from the beginning not to make one. At the same time, she made clear that her own decision did not mean she dismissed the meaning of wedding photos for others. She said she fully understands a bride's desire to wear a wedding dress and beautifully record a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

The video also showed different parts of Han Ga-in's daily life during a visit to Gangneung in Gangwon Province. At one cafe, she took part in a barista experience, learning how to make drip coffee and how to use an espresso machine. After making coffee herself, she prepared iced Americanos on site for citizens who recognized her and gave them the drinks as a gesture of thanks.

Han then visited a restaurant specializing in sundubu, or soft tofu dishes, where she tasted altari kimchi and exclaimed that it was truly delicious. She said her father-in-law's hometown is in Gangwon Province, so her family often eats cabbage pancakes and buckwheat dishes at home. Describing the taste, she said it reminded her of memories from childhood.

When the conversation turned to buckwheat makgeolli, Han Ga-in kept the mood light with a witty response, saying that they were not necessarily trying to drink it. Her comment added to the cheerful atmosphere of the outing.

The production team also asked how she felt about leaving her children behind and coming to Gangneung for a two-day, one-night schedule. Han joked, "Mr. Yeon Jung-hoon, good luck. I will not be going home," drawing laughter as she showed a realistic side familiar to parents raising children.

Han Ga-in married actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005, and the couple has one son and one daughter. Recently, through the YouTube channel "Free Wife Han Ga-in," she has continued to share content about travel, hands-on experiences, parenting and everyday life, maintaining active communication with the public.
