Yeon Jung-hoon reveals unexpected new family members

Actor Yeon Jung-hoon shared news of an unexpected "addition to the family," revealing a deep sense of responsibility toward his companion animals. When asked about his recent daily life, Yeon piqued curiosity by answering, "I am helping with their hobbies while watching the children.'

However, the "children" he referred to were not human offspring. Yeon surprised the cast by revealing, "We are raising pet lizards and frogs. We have two gecko lizards and a tree frog. They are really cute."

Gecko lizards are reptiles that have recently gained interest in pet culture due to their small size, unique appearance, and relatively gentle temperament. When Hong Jin-kyung remarked, "The children in this house must be happy," adding, "My daughter also said she wanted to raise an iguana, but I wouldn't let her because just thinking about it is creepy," Yeon revealed a twist in the story.

He drew laughter by confessing, "Actually, I never gave permission. The children went with their mother and bought them."

He continued, "But since they are living beings, we decided to raise them as much as we can," revealing an attitude that views pets not as mere toys or hobbies, but as beings to be cared for together.

Yeon also revealed an unexpected change that occurred while raising pets.

He made the set burst into laughter by saying, "Since Namsan is behind our house, many bugs come up. I used to be afraid of bugs, but now I have tools, so I just catch them with tongs and throw them."
