Han Go-eun loses 3kg amid grueling 120-episode drama shoot
Actress Han Go-eun reveals her 3kg weight loss due to an intense filming schedule, while her husband Sin Yeong-su prepares a restorative meal.
Actress Han Go-eun shared an update on her current status, revealing that she has undergone an intense schedule filming a 120-episode daily drama, resulting in a weight loss of 3kg. To support his wife, who is exhausted from consecutive days of filming, her husband Sin Yeong-su showed his affection by personally preparing nutritious restorative food, creating a heartwarming scene.

On the 9th, a video titled 'A Full Course of Restorative Food (Eel Pot Rice and Chogye-guksu) Prepared by Husband for Han Go-eun, Who Lost 3kg Due to Drama Filming' was released on the YouTube channel 'Han Go-eun Han Go-eun'.
In the video, Han Go-eun shared her current situation, saying, "I am very busy lately because drama filming is in full swing. Summer has deepened before I knew it, and it feels like a time when I need to nourish my body." She continued with a laugh, "Being chased by the drama schedule, I've become sensitive, I haven't been able to eat properly, and I'm lacking sleep. Since my husband said he would prepare a full meal to help me recover my strength on my first holiday in a while, I decided to rest completely in 'madam mode' today."
In response, husband Sin Yeong-su expressed his determination, saying, "Today, I will cook for you as if I am serving a guest, with the mindset of a chef." When Han Go-eun said, "Today, I really won't do anything and will just be served," Sin Yeong-su caused laughter by boldly claiming, "I'm really confident, so don't do anything."
During the conversation, her noticeably thin appearance during the ongoing filming was also mentioned. When the production team asked if she seemed to have lost weight, Han Go-eun confessed, "It wasn't intentional, but I lost about 3kg because I've been overwhelmed with work." Hearing this, Sin Yeong-su could not hide his concern, saying, "She was already a thin person, so I'm worried since she lost 3kg from her already slim frame."
Han Go-eun candidly revealed her grueling schedule, saying with a laugh, "Ironically, since I lost weight, my waist pain has actually lessened. I am currently filming a 120-episode daily drama, and there are many scenes with intense emotions. Since scenes where I have to scream continue almost every day, it is so hard that I sometimes think, 'I might actually collapse.' Once filming is over, I end up clutching the back of my neck." She added, "That's why I desperately need restorative food today."
Sin Yeong-su prepared eel pot rice and Chogye-guksu (cold chicken soup with mustard) for his wife. He explained, "Eel is good for the skin and is a great food for recovering vitality. It's a food that gives you strength and makes you feel younger," to which Han Go-eun playfully retorted, "Are you saying I've aged?" Flustered, Sin Yeong-su tried to recover by saying, "I didn't mean it like that, but since you're not a newborn..." making the scene erupt in laughter.
Han Go-eun expressed her anticipation, saying, "It has been 11 years since we got married, and this is the first time my husband has prepared a proper meal like this." Despite his clumsy skills, Sin Yeong-su completed the meal with all his heart. After finishing the meal, Han Go-eun expressed her satisfaction, saying, "I really had no energy at all, but now I feel a surge of strength. It was worth living together for 11 years."
Sin Yeong-su also shared his thoughts, saying, "I realized once again that one should eat a meal prepared by someone with a grateful heart. My wife seems to have been replenished, but I am completely drained of energy. Still, after making it myself, my heart is truly happy."
Han Go-eun is currently delivering a passionate performance as Na Se-ri in the MBC daily drama 'Family Register,' meeting viewers while handling high-intensity emotional acting and a long filming schedule.
